The March Salon will be on 21 st and will be a celebration of the contribution my co host Fiona Allan has made to the Wales Millennium Centre. Fiona is moving on to Leceister after 6 years in Cardiff. She will be taking up the position of Chief Executive at Curve a newly refurbished theatre venue. Apparently one is not supposed to refer to ‘the’ Curve but without the additional word it sounds grammatically incorrect! I relunctantly wish her all the luck in the world in her first leadership position where she has the opportunity to fly solo. A challenge that I know she will rise to with great aplomb.
The Victorious Endeavours Salon Programme will have nearly reached it’s first anniversary and the success is in no small part down to her contribution. I will miss her terribly I confess.
Together we have interviewed, or rather chatted in conversation, with Baroness Finlay and Dilys Price who were both great fun. Followed by Angela Gidden and Julia Brooker for a stylish foray into the world of design. It won’t be the same without my lovely co-host but I promise to soldier on!
But we simply must give Fiona a great send off so I will be inviting people to bring stories and anecdotes to share at the Salon.
More information to follow but if you would like to book a place for Monday 21 February 6.30 pm at ffresh Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff please email me at email@example.com
